Jesus often withdrew to be alone with the Father. In doing so, He showed us how to live. This is a call to slow down, be still, and remember that God is God and we are not. As we reflect on His power, presence, and perfect knowledge, we’re invited to step out of striving and into dependence. Before we go and do great things for God, we must first stop and behold His greatness.
